@Trevor - I think most humans reading this blog would agree with you that the system is rigged but this "rigging" is unsustainable and eventually will collapse just as history has proven countless times. For example, injecting fiat money to "stimulate" the economy will ultimately lead to hyper-inflation which will surely bring the system down. There is only so much fiddling that central banks can do before things collapse. I hope I'm wrong but don't think I am.

The price of precious metals (vs. most currencies) has been plummeting since then. I recall several instances where precious metals mining stocks and the metals have been highly recommended on this blog, after May 2011.Given that it is clear the US dollar is not in a state of collapse, despite what the "alternative" media keeps reporting, and despite that the US petrodollar is being heavily diluted by the US central bank without any impact on the US dollar's value (as demonstrated by the chart), I am confused why this basic analysis has gotten past you, Jeff.
