Although there hasnn't been much media coverage on the story, apparently Iran did start a new international bank clearing organization in June. This way they can avoid the way the U.S. uses the SWIFT banking system as a financial weapon against other countries/individuals who diagree with them.What, if any, impact do you think this will have on financial freedom in the world? If it is impossible for americans to have any accounts overseas because america controls the SWIFT system, won't it make things freer for everybody now that a new anti-swift system is being created?
