The Coming Hunger Games: Young People Forced To Serve, Kill and Die

“I would like to see American students develop as much fanaticism about the US political system as young Nazis did about their political system during the War.” —Lyndon B. Johnson, 1965
You probably haven't heard, as these things aren't announced over the government propaganda channels (AKA mainstream media), but Obama wants every single young American 18 to 25 years old to be forced into national service and ready to go into military service whenever the president wants more bodies to enforce his will abroad.
Obama's opening salvo for this vile requirement came in 2008 when he spoke of a "civilian national security force".
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded," said Obama the 2008 presidential candidate.
You'd think after realizing that the guy who called for the 21st century American version of the brownshirts and Hitler Youth became president, every American who could do so would have started the process of obtaining a new citizenship and passport for them and their families, getting out of the US tax farm and cutting all ties.
Fast forward to 2013 and now Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) has just introduced H.R. 748.
H.R. 748 would require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 25 to perform national service either as a member of uniformed or civilian service. Civilian services include federal, state, and local government programs. But most frighteningly, this house resolution would "authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services..."
It was bound to come to this. Like any totalitarian state, the USSA wants to make some sort of government service a requirement for everyone, particularly in their prime physical years when their bodies can best meet the requirements of military slaves. Even if these young people don't become cannon fodder, they will literally be forced to perform unpaid labor for their government. Last we checked unpaid labor at gunpoint satisfied the definition of slavery.
Most of these young people are going to prefer "community-based" unpaid labor to getting shot at by the people whom the US government invades and occupies. There will be no real safety in serving the civilian side of this forced labor for the state, however. H.R. 748 makes all persons between 18 and 25 able to be inducted into the uniformed services should the state determine there is such a need. When you consider the continued and growing military aggression of the US, it's almost a certainty that just about every young person in America will be exposed to live combat...maybe even domestically. Especially since it was just revealed that the Department of Homeland Insecurity has just made an order for 2,700 light armored tanks. Apparently, US subjects have a lot of security coming their way!

Who knew that Hunger Games would be so prophetic? Every single child in America can look forward to at least performing slave labor with a good chance that they may be forced to kill others in order to survive. They will be forced to take their chances literally with life and limb to satisfy the bloody ambitions of sociopathic criminal politicians.
How eager are those criminals to get this underway? H.R. 748 was introduced on February 14th, 2013 and was referred to the House Armed Services Committee the very same day!
Time is running out to get away from the US before it literally starts stealing your young people and sacrificing their lives. If you had started taking action when Obama first announced his plans before his election four years ago, you and your family already would have had your other passports and would be safely out of his reach.
Even though time is running out, it's still not too late to act. TDV Passports is here to help. You can take the first step on your permanent escape from the USSA by clicking here.

P.S. And now Obama wants to get to your kids even earlier. He's proposing a universal pre-K plan so the indoctrination can start for all children in America by age four:
![]()
"According to the details of his plan released by the White House, Obama is proposing a new federal-state partnership to provide all low- and moderate-income four-year old children [those from families at or below 200 percent of poverty level] with high-quality preschool, while also expanding these programs to reach additional children from middle class families. 'However, it continues to tout 'preschool for all.' The full extent of Obama’s plan may not become apparent until he releases a proposed budget in mid-March."
Of course, as usual, the reason for even earlier kidnapping and brainwashing is "to help the children." Obama is basing his push on evidence that extremely poor ghetto or rural children become better students later on with an earlier start. But those results certainly won't be universal. The fact is extremely poor children are indeed at a disadvantage because their paternal investment tends to be lower.
But the real reason behind universal pre-K is to expose America's children to state brainwashing at an even younger, more vulnerable age. That way they'll be less resistant to becoming slaves and cannon fodder for the state under things like H.R. 748.
Whatever age your children are, whether they'll be subject to H.R. 748 or universal pre-K, even if you don't have any kids yet! You owe it to yourself and your family to get as clear of the USSA as possible.

OK, I GIVE UP !
Someone, please, tell me what is the secret rule of this website as it pertains to the order in which the comments appear?
I am observing the comments appearing all over the place, both below and above the rest, and not, in the middle.

Translation of "national service" from governmentese: "We're going broke and cannot afford to hire anyone so we'll just conscript them as chattel slaves."
I am sure most Americans will welcome this new law. For severeal reasons.
Those who were previously enslaved, have a reason to see other people enslaved as well. This is true of any country, - in Russia, for instance, most veterans are the hard core advocates for slavery. The reasoning goes: "I am a slave -> I better find a good reason for why I am a slave -> I am a patriot, that's why! -> I am really not a slave, have I had a second chance, I would have surely enlisted voluntarily -> If others are not enslaved, the field is not equal -> look at them, so unbroken and unmolested, I'd like to see them in the shoes I was -> I support the draft, because this is the only way to show one's love for the Nation".
These veterans are such wimps deep inside, that they really cannot find any power within themselves to raise above their own circumstance, and to protect the innocent, or at least not make an effort to enslave them.
People will support this because their brains had been molested from childhood. The ONLY reason they object so much to sexual molestation of children is because the majority is not molested sexually. Had this been not the case, the public opinion with regards to molestation at young age would have been exactly the same as it is with regards to public school brainwashing. If one's only measure of sanity is the sense of his congruency with the normal (meaning the majority), then there is no principal difference between the molestation of body and that of the mind. Although, stating only for myself, I would guard my mind more than I would guard my body.
Most people had been molested, because they had been at school before they could learn to guard their mind. This is the normal to them. They have never known anything other than the mind invaded and stomped on with the jackboots of the authority. Therefore, they will scoff at articles like this. What is this TDV dude talking about? We have been told that to replace the pure and ingenious mind with a programming is a bliss, that it is the goal and an object of desire. It is especially sweet when done on someone else's dime, because, truly, it serves the purpose of equality, - everyone has the right to get as crazy as the others.
Then, of course, the necessity argument. Rather than restructure the way we live, we will do everything possible to send the others to die for the glorious purpose of trying to maintain the unsustainable status quo by force. Not like others hadn't tried that before. No one was able to do it, but, hey doing the same thing over and over expecting different results? Going to school earlier will help you to make sence of this one.
Finally, the economic argument. (Political, actually) Every time the monetary scam had run a nation down to the ground, it helps when the attention of that nation becomes focused on survival (having a stron foreign enemy is far better than having been tried domestically).
While I certainly agree with much of the financial opinions of this site, pieces like this destroy your credibility. Also, I do not and would not live in America, as it is in the advanced stages of a corporate takeover.
President Obama, while not able or willing to fight those "behind the curtain," is hardly responsible for action taken over the past 40 to 50 years (read the Powell Memo for the blueprint to the corporate takeover of America (and later the world).
Studies show that children that are enrolled in Pre K have a significant increase in basic learning skills. The Obama proposal is to fund Pre K for poor kids in an effort to level the playing field, giving those in poverty an greater chance of escaping the systemic cycle of poverty.
Mr. Gibson your fear mongering is a pathetic disgrace... now, off to cleanse my bookmark list!
If you understood anything, (basic austrian econ) you'd understand that the cycle of poverty is only helped by anything provided for 'free' at the expense of others. The poor would get off their asses if they wern't paid to sit there at other people's expenses. (add inflation to taxation, and it's not just others' expenses, it's even at the poor's expense, directly!) If they had to pay to live like the rest of us, they'd HAVE to do SOMETHING to earn a living. Like me. Or Mr. Gibson. At least he and the TDV have credibilty. You however have none. It's kinda ironic that someone who says that a govn't program is 'good' for the poor says that they agree with the financial opinons of TDV. It's obvious you understand nothing, troll. =)
All presidents are evil. It' the nature of the job.
But you seem quick to call racism. You have the typical left wing eagerness to call racism when people like me don't give a black face a free pass.
You disgust me.
You are a pawn in the corporate funded right wing game... actually a "useful idiot" would be more appropriate.
Quick to call racism...lol!
The Tea Party whack jobs in the house can't even been seen in public with the man for fear of getting primary'd... the Florida Governor lost his job for simply greeting him with a hug.
And... you brought up racism not me "councilor," but having opened the door (thanks)...
The evil is the campaign strategy taken by the extreme right to demonize a black president... confident that it would feed the basic racist instincts of many (most?) in their base. And you feed the beast for profit... that makes you a whore... enjoy!
Please no reply... I get an email and can't resist... just move on and hate in peace!
Pathetic! Just another typical narrow-minded and schizoid left-wing dullard. Return to the herd on your political farm.......it's 'feeding' time.
You get an email and cannot resist for the same reason you can't resist posting your nonsense among people you know won't agree: you are lonely and haven't much else better to do.
Cummon Gary... is that really all you got?
I promise to move on to another lonely hearts site if you will just stfu and go back to stoking fear and hate for profit... my bookmark list has been cleansed and I will not be back to debate(?) with a group of ideological puritans (though I'm sure you have many sane readers).
btw... Maybe the best comment editing functions I've ever seen.
And... I spend my working days (I'm a retired aerospace president) researching gold and silver related investment/trading vehicles. Your site WAS an interesting distraction. I do my best to listen to all sides of most issues (of course I lean left on social issues... I grew up very poor and do not forget where I came from... your country has become almost third world in dealing with poverty issues and your views fuel those atrocities). You, and your friends, really need to get out of the bubble a bit more... there is a real (such as it is) world out there.
Good luck... you will need plenty :-)
Ideological puritans. Yeah, we assholes should realize that there are times when theft, murder and rape are right.
People like you act like you give a damn about the poor. But when people like us point out the real cause of their plight...or point out that trying to solve their plight by violence and plunder only naturally makes it worse...people like you call us right wing corporate whores. (Funny, because we hate corporations as creations and pets of the state. And we don't agree with the right wingers who want to tell their neighbors how to live or who worship the state's aggression against foreigners.) But it's people like you and your love of violence and theft who are the problem. Your pretend concern isn't cutting it anymore. You are the past, retired aerospace president.
I can guarantee you will be back to answer this post, by the way.
Anon surely is a 'space cadet' but certainly no aerospace prez, with such infantile intellect and 'personality'. You know the old adage of trying to argue with Fools.
Hey Gary
A side from the lively verbal skirmish ocupying this thread, on the logistical side, the style, or method, ov this blog layout is a bit confusing. It would be great if: 1. Commenters could not use the name "Anonymous" (too many of them) and 2. (I'm not computer/internet/blog savvy so excuse my delivery on this point) The set up of the blog is kept simple. Oldest comment at the top and reply comment underneath each comment . I have a Mac and when I go to the blog section at your site, it's a little difficult to decipher, sometimes, i.e. who's reacting/commenting to whom by the time sequencing. Other than that, great site, keep up the lively and juicy in-house articles. Thanks.
PS This is NO DRILL!
PSS Sometimes my comments aren't posted, either. Don't think I'm being un-neighborly, something technical happening. Anyway...Cheers.
"Mr. Gibson your fear mongering is a pathetic disgrace."
Your inability to see why you should be scared out of your tiny, little statist mind would be comical if it weren't alarming :)
Jeez Gary,
I'm new here, but I couldn't resist a reply because of Mr. (go fly a kite) Areospace.
The Farce is deep with this one. Of course he's not alarmed. The State is the fount of wisdom and purity with these types. The knee-jerkery racist charge seemed so far out of context and humorous until I noticed your picture.
Then it climaxed to the riotously absurd. You Racist Hatemonger...lol.
Seriously, why should you object to the little tykes learning the Internationale at a tender age? Why would you object to building a consensus early amonst these budding new 'climatologists'? Do you not realize that moving FORWARD is going to need many more minions of the proper idealogical cant?
Remember: "We're from the Govt. and we're here to help" is not a threat to Statists...It's a promise. Like Social Security. One you'll regret.
Regarding Jeff's post, I think a draft would be just what we need. Get the kids to drop the iShit and get out on the streets to cause TPTB some real fearmongering.
Anyway, just a hidey-ho and keep up the good work peeking under the rocks and putting a light on the bugs.
@ Anonymous (Troll?)
For your "Simple Denial"...but then again, you'll be cleansing your brain of this site (is that called brainwashing?), but I suspect you'll be back to read your comment.
Denial is a defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is to uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence.
The subject may use:
Simple denial: deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether
Minimisation: admit the fact but deny its seriousness (a combination of denial and rationalization)
Projection: admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility by blaming somebody or something else.
Embracing the corporate sponsored, right wing smear of President Obama as the root of all evil in America: Racism
The state or fact of being ignorant; lack of knowledge, learning, information: ignorance
"Denial" is having to attack and name call those who disagree with your personal ideology.
Your last sentence described yourself in spades! Realization of your problem is the first step in effective deprogramming. Keep up the therapy!
Supporting the war mongering drone commander in chief with his secret kill list and license to kill without trial, just because he is black: racism
you really need to spend a few minutes outside the bubble... I promiss it won't hurt a bit
You can be forgiven for not seeing through the evil, it is complex. But history can be a guide. Kublai Khan of the greatest empire that ever existed stretching from China to the gates of Vienna, also had a program to educate the children through extorted money. He was praised by history writers, because he did it in local dialects, so also rural kids 'had a chance' These children died in 2 subsequent invasions of Japan. Because empires have to grow and the enslaved had to die. The first to be educated by public education (blood money funded education) in the USA died in the trenches in WWI. Whenever large groups of people get slaughtered, you will find the slaughterers were educated by the state.
Why is this?
Because human beings have empathy and can feel what the person who fills their wallet with money wants them to say. That is why the scientists paid by gvt will say global warming is true and people paid by a pharmaceutical will claim their medication rocks. Teachers will communicate the praise of those who have given them blood money in many ways. It's not just the national flag in the class room, the pledge of allegeance. It's the reminder that they are educated thanks to the state, they are in debt to the state. They have to do it's bidding. It's also the drills, the demanded obedience and order, the school uniforms, the learning plans, it's thousand little ways to frame their thinking. The earlier people get indoctrinated, the more unconcious is their enslavement. As adults they will get angry when somenone points it out to them. That anger is against their enslavers, but because they do not see their enslavers once it boils up, instead it is directed against the messenger who talks to them about freedom. Their anger shuts down their neo cortex. Youthfull indoctrination is an immunisation against truth.
I'm willing to bet that the next president will be an openly pro-war Republican. Obama is such a pretty face, but he's still a killer despite how he may have appeared with Chuck Hagel's appointment. The present path is to make the draft seem reasonable again after how big of a disaster it was in Vietnam. Indeed, the bill makes even women subject to future drafts. However, the chance of this single bill being passed is lesser than or equal to one percent.
That leaves time to write worse laws though because the principle of the bill (forced labor for youth) is actually seen as a good thing to some Americans. The higher the 18-25 year olds' unemployment, the more I expect laws like this to be considered and passed. After all, it's good for them to learn something in the feild since they dropped out of college (and have debt)!
But also, the bill mentions 23 as the max age for a university student to bedeferred from forced labor. You have to do something for that 24th year of life not in college, it seems (strange, master degree programs make so much money for colleges, how on Earth could colleges put up with this requirment?).
I am not sure what you mean by "your views are not society at all". Do you mean that my views are not the same as those of the society's? Or, do you mean that with the views as mine are, no society at all is possible because my views are insufficiently confiscatory (idealist, leaving no place for theft and murder)?
I understand your point on draft now. Yes, I've heard that before, and even had that as my own view, long time ago. You meant to say let us force the rich into a war if there is a war, and then I bet, there will never be a war again.
Unfortunately, I had to discard that view as non-working one. It doesn't work.
You will not EVER force the rich into something, because if they couldn't figure out the way to fool you, they wouldn't be rich. They will still have wars, and you and I will still send our sons to die in them. Their own, frequently, will not be drafted, or will be drafted to serve in a capacity that presents no danger.
The main point to take away from here it this: You will not ever be free from the reach of rich people if you engage in mutual limitation struggle. Remember, they are less lazy than you are, they have more powerful social connections, they are smarter, they have more knowledge, they have funds to assist them in any endeavour, and they have better morals than the poor.
So, the rich, are all around better people than the poor. There are exceptions, but in my experience, those are very rare. Most poor people I see daily are just stupid and lazy.
This can be illustrated by taxing the rich. The working rich will be taxed, but the smart rich will not be. They will find a way or create a loophole, and by the time you fire it out and close it, they will create another one. This is like a turtle chasing a rabbit. Forget about it.
=============
The only way, the only chance a thinking poor person has, is in severing the ties with everybody. Until he gets richer he will not get smarter and they will not ALLOW him to get smarter, they will keep dragging him down to the pitiful consequences of their own irresponsibility, so he must sever all ties. He must end the abusive relationship first, before he can get his life back. He must end the ridiculous responsibility for someone else's stupid choices. He must act directly against the most honored advice the poor give to each other: "stick together".
Instead of creating more ties, such as draft, the poor (if they weren't stupid and lazy and really wanted better life) should be demanding the destruction of unnatural responsibilities. They should be demanding no taxation, no draft, no state encroachment of individual rights. And this would be a proper place to enlist the rich. They would help figuring hos to achieve this and with funding, because they understand the need even more so than the poor.
And you can paint this above paragraph in huge bold letters on a sky-wide banner and nail the son of the bitch to the skies above, - and you will not get anyone following the advice.
Why? Look back at what I said in the beginning: "the only chance a thinking poor person has" - there is almost no one that is thinking.
The sad fact is that absolute majoity of poor are poor mentally, and that is why they are poor materially. The few that are not poor mentally, and are being thrown into the poverty by chance, are quick to find the direction and climb right out of it, usually not into riches, but , most of the time to where they are in the middle.
It seems my comment starting with the pro-war republican got a decent bit of attention. Oh well. Another unknown person replied to it, as did Mava...
USA foregin policy doesn't make sense to me. College students here are from China, Russia, and other places. While a minority, I refuse to believe declaring war on people within a terrotory is sensible these days. Even if the USA goes to war with China over some disputed islands between Japan and China, I do wonder what changed. War kills people I can trade with or be friends with because nationalism is just a shallow concept of who someone is or whom he should be with.
The draft (sans deferals for the wealthy) would be a most positive move... let the sons and daughters of Congress and the elite offer their lives for oil and $!
So, you want to kill my son just so you could draft some of the scum that is the offspring of the scum?
... and of course you're fine with the sons of the poor and disenfranchised dieing for "your freedom" in wars that benefit only the scum at the top.
Well, no. I am against the very idea of draft. I don't belive in violence. I am not willing to become a cannon meat in order to have someone else also drafted to become the cannon meat. I think signing up for that should remain strictly voluntary choice. And, I believe that the funding for war, should aslo, be a voluntary choice, just like I belive any tax should be, - a voluntary choice.
If you want social security, then you subscribe to pay for social security taxes. If you don't pay, then you cannot receive them, or can, - I'd leave that decision to those who pays. Same with any other taxes. Nasa, bailouts, armed forces, president's black tinted SUV. You want that? Pay for it. Don't force others to fund your own desires.
And, I don't belive that poor are in any sort of unfair situation as long as they are not drafted. I was very poor, poorer than what most people on this board would consider poor, and I did not ever wanted to sign up for armed forces , - instead, I was drafted by force. (I did want to be a fighter pilot, but that was when I was a child, and not because I was poor, - I was just surrounded by fighter pilots. So, I don't think that counts).
Understandable sentiment mava... from a personal perspective.
Stepping back, while counterintuitive, re-introducing the draft would be one of the most effective means of realizing your goal of reducing violence (in your name)... of course deferrals must be eliminated or the usual suspects would be protected (right Mitt?).
So you were poor (so was I) and didn't enlist... and you conclude you represent the population? Facts are facts, and the lower class (btw, your world view assures they stay that way) makes up the vast majority of the military fighting force. They have no voice, no power, are bullied into inhumane multiple tours of duty while the middle and upper classes get their education and never worry about being put in harms way. They volunteer as one of few options they have to escape the poverty and gain some respect (even if it is borne of guilt)... they do not (as most are want to say with a microphone shoved in their face) enlist to "fight for freedom."
Let the law makers, and more importantly the rich and powerful who put them in place and pay them to do their bidding, sacrifice their sons and daughters in the name of oil and profit. Peace would break out in a heart beat... believe me your kids would be safe and would have a year or less (no wars... smaller fighting force... full draft, so very short tours) of healthy discipline before moving on with their lives.
Finally, with respect, your views are of no society at all... an Ayn Rand utopia (she was of course a fiction writer)... Cheers!
"As I have said, the noise of battle outside the walls and of the games within, the voices of the dying outside and the voices of the reveling within, were mingled. Perhaps there scarcely could be distinguished the cries of the people who fell in battle and the yelling of the people who shouted in the circus."
--Salvian de Presbyter on the decline of the roman empire in 'De gubernatione Dei'
This is to much. *shakes head with wonder* Not even sure what to say - I kept telling my friends and family this would happen, and I'm right... But did I really want to be right? It must be high-time to get out.
