Watch How Corporate Greed Kills Social Media

The disturbing trend of censorship on mainstream social networks in 2019 means more people are seeking alternative ways to interact digitally. The question is, where should we go in 2020?

The reason Facebook and YouTube are quasi-monopolies–aside from their questionable relationships (and origins) with certain government agencies–is because they’ve capitalized on the “network effect” in particularly sly ways.

Fortunately, there are some promising competitors coming to market, including one that should allow us to “all Flote on” to better experiences. I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Kingsley Edwards, the entrepreneur who created the mobile app called Flote

For Anarchast episode 489, Edwards and I tackled how his new user-friendly and functional application can help people connect and explore controversial issues without being censored or spied on.

After all, as I’ve been reporting for some time, the Big Tech corporations have slowly been trying to silence many of the alternative voices across the Internet and media landscape, because these influencers (mostly libertarians and freethinking truth-tellers) present facts and research “Big Brother” doesn’t want you to know.

This has led to everything from “shadow banning” to straight-up “algorithm tampering” which doesn’t do Free Speech any favors! Even if many people disagree with a point of view, you should still be free to hear about it.

When one door closes, another opens, which enables risk-takers like Edwards to step in and seize the moment. Thanks to Flote, which launched in February, people everywhere now have a place where they can interact and share information without fear of being spied on, censored, or even just “messed with” like how Kingsley and I were after we dared criticize Facebook… on Facebook.

It’s easy for anyone to join the crypto-enabled Flote (I’m on there myself), so I highly recommend checking out my interview with Kingsley to learn more about this viable Fedbook alternative, before the “powers that shouldn’t be” take down the episode and come after us, too!

In addition to everything you should know about Flote, the video above covers a range of topics from Rick Simpson oil to Project Veritas, as well as Cryptopulco, where Kingsley will be a featured speaker among top crypto experts like Nick Spanos, Brock Pierce, Naomi Brockwell, Ben Swann, and more at Anarchapulco 2020

Back in 2013, Kingsley Edwards founded Leet, an esports bitcoin platform, with the vision of integrating cryptocurrencies with popular video games. After Leet was acquired, Edwards worked as Director for a token sale that sold over $33M in tokens.

Now he brings his experience and network from the crypto community to help other organizations achieve success in the blockchain industry. It’s time to evolve

CRYPTOPULCO is the crypto event of the year held annually in Acapulco, Mexico, and is the only conference of its kind that accepts cryptocurrency for tickets and hotel reservations.
