Markets Versus Government: Hologram Protesting Sidesteps Government Edict

[The following post is by TDV Editor-In-Chief, Jeff Berwick]

Last week we commented on how activists in New York had gotten around the government removal of an Edward Snowden statue by replacing his image with a hologram.

In the constant battle between the free market and its evil nemesis, government, the stakes were raised dramatically in Spain a few days later!

For those unaware, the fasco-communist government in Spain has been systematically destroying the economy and as its citizenry gets more unemployed (unemployment has been between 20-30% for the last few years) and upset the government has become incredibly tyrannical.

Taking tips on naming things the opposite of what they are from places like the US with its "
Patriot Act"
, Spain has recently enacted its "
Citizen Safety Law"
.
Here are just some of the things that the Spanish government has enacted to keep its citizens safe:

Since any form of protest has now been outlawed the market has, yet again, found a way around their tyrannical overlords and the world'
s first holographic protest was held.

Of course, the government will likely just add "
holographic protests"
to its list of illegal activities but this concept of a holographic protest brings up some interesting concepts on how our world is changing.

TECHNOLOGY AND GOVERNMENT

The first thought I had upon seeing this was that the government couldn'
t very well roll out its usual heavily armed riot police to "
break up the protest"
.
And if they did they would look totally ridiculous.
Perhaps, instead however, electronic riot police will need to be trained to try to hack into computers and systems that project the hologram.
Or, maybe they make a hologram of riot police which is projected showing them tear gassing and beating the other hologram?

The other thing this makes you consider is just how digital everything is becoming.
You really don'
t have to do much physically anymore and this is just another example.
We are, more and more, living in a totally digital world.
The Information Age has truly arrived.

But, aside from that, this also makes you wonder about the value of protesting.
After all, this virtual protest will likely have the same results as a real protest: nothing.

The people who portend to own you (the government) rarely change anything when met with people or holograms holding up signs.
Perhaps this hologram will make people realize the absurdity of even protesting the government.

The only way that we can live in a much freer world is to disavow anything to do with government.
Taxes?
Sorry, not paying.
Stupid regulations?
Sorry, not going to adhere to your arbitrary whims.
Central banks destroying the economy?
I'
ll use bitcoin and precious metals, thank you.

Edmund Burke said, "
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing"
, and the government in and of itself is evil (evil being defined as being something that is profoundly immoral and malevolent),
and by adhering to any of their arbitrary edicts and paying their extortion fees you are, in effect, doing nothing to stop it.

The world is waking up to the true enemies of mankind: the government and the central banks.
The only problem is that they haven'
t fully realized that with a cancer like government you can'
t just try to change it or try to restrain it.
It must be completely removed.

It'
s not going to be easy, at all, but it will happen and I am here to do everything I can to hasten its vanquishment from this planet.

Watch this excellent short video to see what needs to be done to remove it.
