Although here at The Dollar Vigilante we generally do not write about pre-1933 gold coins, the following chart was brought to our attention. Originally posted here, it demonstrates today's premiums on some popular gold coins when compared to their historical premiums.  While investing in rare coins comes with inherent risks, we thought it would be worth our readers time to look it over. Many of the coins are below their 13-year average premium.

Nobody believes that the states will eternally drag the burden of these interest payments. It is obvious that sooner or later all these debts will be liquidated in some way or other, but certainly not by payment of interest and principal according to the terms of the contract.
