As I write, FOX News television is reporting on the following story, which is also posted to its website, “A protest against police-involved killings spun out of control for the second straight night in Berkeley, Calif. Sunday [Dec. 7], as demonstrators threw rocks and explosives at officers, turned on each other, and shut down a highway.” Two officers were injured. An undisclosed number of protesters were arrested.

The worldwide awakening is picking up steam and having an effect on major parts of our overall culture, including the dictionary. No longer is it a mystery to individuals how the world is run: government and business team up to plunder wealth (taxation) and pay off friends.  This system is called crony capitalism, and it is now in the Oxford dictionary.

I grew up behind the iron curtain in the 1970s in communist northern Canada with a black and white TV that you actually had to get up to change the channel on the knob.  The knob had theoretically 13 channels but only 4 of them actually had anything on them.

One was the government propaganda channel, CBC, the other was CTV and then there was some sort of local channel and there was also something on channel 13, if memory serves, but it mostly looked like a snowstorm through the rabbit ears.

The internet has changed the world. It has changed the way humans interact and do business. There aren't many people today who could even imagine their life without the internet.

It's amazing to consider that just twenty years ago most people didn't even know what it was.

Some people like to say that money is the root of all evil.  If by "money" they mean fiat currencies printed up at will by central banks they are correct.

Yet "experts" say central banks promote stability. It is practically baked into the Keynesian cake. When you search for central banks and stability, many telling reports and quotations pop up. There is an entire report by the Bank For International Settlements (the central banks' bank) on the topic. The International Monetary Fund, as well, promotes the idea that central banks promote stability.

But let's look at this stability they are talking about.

On this day, Thanksgiving, which is a celebration of a day centuries ago where Americans welcomed and fed undocumented immigrants… and then those undocumented immigrants went on to wholesale slaughter the early Americans… and with so many problems in the world today from Ferguson, to Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria (note which government is intricately involved in all these and many more conflicts) we thought we'd make today's communique short and sweet.

Marion Barry, former mayor of Washington, D.C., has died, and it causes me to recall a dinner I had with him. I was at a restaurant long after he had been tossed out of office after having been caught on camera smoking crack.

Tensions in the US are high.  Hundreds of millions of people have been extorted and many have been kidnapped and beaten. People are frustrated and demanding answers, and to find them they are looking to…. authority figures?

They've been well-trained. But it is not with these authority figures true liberation lies. It would be better for us all, as individuals, to look deep inside ourselves and find an inner calm that runs in all living beings and recognize the true terrorists.

Remember when Americans fled Britain and the monarchy? Well, now the British are fleeing from America and its modern tyranny…

Take London Mayor Boris Johnson, for instance.

Johnson has been London’s mayor since 2008 and is even planning on running for Parliament.  His big mistake was being born in New York, though. Even though he moved at age 5, the US government wants him to pay capital gains taxes owed by American citizens earning income abroad.

Eleutherophobia is the fear of being free. 

Some people, apparently, still have a fear of being free (they fear not having violent owners).  It's a fear I've never understood… but whenever you mention to them how much better a free market would be than the statist crapitalism we have today they like to say, "Show me one example of a truly free market that works!"

OK… the internet!

While governments do try to stifle it whenever they can they still, really, have no control over the internet in any meaningful way.  It is almost completely anarchic.
